Head coach Jaroslav Berka announced this morning the squad of the Czech team for the World Floorball Championships 2022. Of the 20 players called up, 17 already took part in last year’s bronze medal in Helsinki.

The Czechs travel to Switzerland with a very well-rehearsed team. Head coach Jaroslav Berna called up 17 players who were already part of last year’s team that won bronze against Switzerland. Tom Ondrusek and national team returnee Matěj Jendrišák in particular bring a lot of WFC experience with them. For both it is already the sixth WFC participation. For 22-year-old Jonáš Kreysa, on the other hand, it is his first World Championship at the A-level. The young player impressed the coaching staff in the past camps with his performances and is now allowed to prove himself at the World Championships.

The Czechs finished the last World Floorball Championships with the bronze medal against Switzerland. Already at the EFT the team showed that they could move a bit closer to the other top teams.
