Six matches. 16 goals. A record broken. This is the sum up of Mathias Glass performance at the 2022 World Floorball Championship.

The 22-years-old Danish forward shone bright throughout the group stage of the #WFC2022, and continued giving his best in the next games as well. Although his Denmark finished their journey at the tournament (10th), Mathias already broke a record at the Worlds.
Writing a brand-new page in the history of Floorball, Glass is now the player with most scored goals at one World Championship. The previous best achievement was 15 goals, shared by three different players.

Despite being injured in the last game against Estonia, he still managed to score, and record an assist, making a total of 16 goals and seven assists.

Despite being so young, Mathias is already paving his way to success and is aiming high. Not afraid of the pressure, he even says he loves it.

“I enjoy it – pressure makes me better. I want to be the first player on the rankings. It is great.”

Glass doesn’t forget that for his success at the #WFC2022 to become a reality, he counted on a group of teammates.

“I want to thank all my teammates who were letting me take the shots, so I could score.”
