Planzer, the family-owned Swiss logistics company, is supporting the World Floorball Championship 2022 as a partner and, among other things, will transport the 16 Street Floorball fields to their locations at clubs and schools during the summer.

In the run-up to the WFC 2022, the 16 street floorball fields from swiss unihockey will be touring Switzerland for several months, inviting the local population to play floorball or street floorball in the open. The logistics company Planzer ensures that the fields are in the right place at the right time. Between 70 and 80 transports are carried out in this way throughout Switzerland. In addition, Planzer also brings the material for the Mobiliar Street Floorball Tour to the nine venues inmiddle of Swiss cities. “Logistics is one of the main challenges of the Mobiliar Street Floorball Tour. That’s why we are very grateful to be able to count on Planzer’s great experience,” says Daniel Kasser, Managing Director of the WFC 2022, “At the same time, we are enormously pleased to have found a partner in Planzer that sets new standards in the field of ecological sustainability.” In line with the Green Goal of the WFC 2022, the material transports will be carried out as sustainably and with as few emissions as possible. In addition to transport by rail, Planzer also uses e-trucks, which are powered by electricity and are emission-free. “Thank you very much for allowing us to make a sustainable contribution to the promotion of street floorball and to achieving the Green Goal of the WFC 2022. This makes us proud,” said Jan Pfenninger, Head of Marketing & Communications at Planzer.
