Together with Mobiliar, we are organizing four extra trains from Bern to Zurich Altstetten. Everyone who travels to Zurich by train instead of by car saves 38kg of CO2. That means 95% less emissions.

CONCORDIA offers school classes the ticket to and from Zurich Altstetten and Winterthur by public transport. In this way, 20,000 schoolchildren experience the special atmosphere of a floorball world championship.

Together with SBB, we are integrating the ticket for public transport within the canton of Zurich directly into the WFC ticket. This is intended to motivate visitors  to leave their cars in the garage and travel by public transport. distributes special collection boxes for broken balls and stick blades at all partner clubs. When the collection boxes are full, they will be collected and recycled by FH Ost in a special process to awards and honors.

Werk 5 dresses the volunteers of the WFC 2022 with sustainably produced clothing. All clothing consists of a blend of recycled polyester and recycled cotton, which is obtained from “waste” from textile production. These and other measures save up to 95% of greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, the production process also uses less energy (-78%) and less drinking water (-99%).

An event the size of a World Floorball Championship requires a lot of branding material made of textiles and plastics. Fleurop recycles the branding material after the WFC and has it transformed into various unique souvenirs by the Lebensart Foundation. The result is a unique souvenir after the event that can be purchased via the Fleurop webshop.
