Nine of the 20 players on the roster are taking part in an top level WFC for the first time. Not all of the players come directly from the U19 national team.

Nine World Floorball Championships debutants are in the Danish squad. Head coach Matti Kaipio has also selected players who are already a few years older than the usual debutants. Among them is 29-year-old Axel Rasmussen, who is making his first WFC appearance. Only goalkeeper Mike Trolle, who will play for Denmark for the fifth time in 2022, is older.

Patrick Falkenberger Moller, born in 1996, is also one of the older players, but will also be playing in his first WFC. The defender’s performance at the recent 6 Nations Floorball Challenge was very positive.
