Swiss national coach David Jansson has determined which players will play in front of a home crowd at the World Floorball Championships. The squad includes two WFC newcomers and one returnee.

The head coach of Switzerland, David Jansson, relies on continuity: 17 of the 20 players were already in the lineup in Prague 2018. Compared to the last WFC in Helsinki a year ago, there were also three changes. Moritz Mock and Noël Seiler will make their WFC debuts. Mock played for Switzerland as captain at the U19 WFC in 2019. In 2021, he made his debut for the national team, but struggled with an injury before the last World Championships in Helsinki. Now he made it into the lineup for the home WFC. His teammate at GC Unihockey, Noël Seiler, also gets to play his first WFC in his own country. He made his international debut at the World Games in the summer. In the five games he scored four goals and was named the best Swiss player.

One who played his last international match for the senior team three years ago is Deny Känzig. The SV Wiler-Ersigen player convinced the coaching staff at the start of the season and was recently nominated for the training camp and now also for the WFC. The 25-year-old was subsequently nominated at the WFC 2018 and thus made his first appearances at a major event.
